Head up the Lao Shan Mountain
The Lao Shan is a particularly famous mountain in China and is located in the Shandong province. It is around 20 miles from Qingdao and the coastal views from the top - well, their worth the effort getting here, oh and there's also a couple of neat temples thrown in for good measure.

Go for a sail in Qingdao
This is very much a seaside city and that is why the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing have chosen Qingdao to host the sailing competition. I'd love to see that - it will be awesome. No doubt about that.

Beside the Seaside, beside the sea
It is so nice to come to this big city and find so much on offer - shops, restaurants and beaches - oh the beaches, they were lovely to walk along in the morning, the afternoon, the evening. Anytime was good for me.

Beer and the Tsingtao Brewery
Believe me, the beer at the Tsingtao Brewery goes down very nicely thank you very much. When you're drinking it (you'll really want to), take a look at the label. The temple printed on it is actually very close by and you can get a good peak at it from the old city beach. That made it all the more special and unique for us anyway. A nice added touch that a lot of people miss out on completely.
